Biography Joseph Kossonogy, Painter. b. 1908, Budapest. Immigrated 1926. Studies: Art Academy, Berlin; advanced studies, France, Holland, Italy and Spain. Prizes: 1937,1944, 1954 Dizengoff Prize; 1950 Dizengoff Prize for a painting on the subject of the sea; 1966 Prize at International Exhibition, Tokyo; 1966 Histadrut Prize; 1976 Nordau Prize.
